Two weeks from today we are headed to Girls Camp! I thought you might like some more information about where we are going and what we are doing so you can be prepared. We are leaving Tuesday, July 14 and are driving to Little Immigration Canyon where we are going on a hike--please be sure to bring a sack lunch in a day pack and plenty of water. Then we are heading to Crandall Campground at Rockport State Park where we will be camping until Friday. Wednesday afternoon we will be spending time swimming in the reservoir, canoeing, jumping on the water trampoline, or just playing on the beach. Feel free to wear a swim suit or shorts for this activity.
You've probably noticed that it is a VERY hot summer. Since we will be spending every day outside it is very important to bring a water bottle and DRINK a lot of water and well as bring and apply sunscreen (multiple times per day) and insect repellent.
P.S. I heard there is a rumor going around that there aren't restrooms at the campground. That is FALSE. We have running water and restrooms, but no showers. Come talk to me if you have any other questions. ~ Sister Moore

Please add these items to your packing list:
- Life Jacket (if you have one) PLEASE LABEL WITH YOUR NAME
We will be camping on a state reservoir and when playing away from the shore, life jackets will be required. If you do not have one to send with your daughter, she may use one provided on the day we have reserved lake activities. If your daughter cannot swim please contact her young women leader ASAP.
- Sack lunch for the first day with a FULL 1 liter (or larger) water bottle.
We are going on a hike the first day before we check in at our campsite. Please have your day pack with a full water bottle (or two) and sack lunch available. A hat and sunscreen are also strongly recommended on the first day.
- Water gun or other fun toy to use in the water fight.
